Management of nephrotic syndrome in childhood

Abstract 

Although relatively uncommon in the population as a whole, nephrotic syndrome is frequently encountered as a problem in general paediatric practice and patients often require additional management by a tertiary paediatric nephrologist. This review discusses the approach to management of nephrotic syndrome in childhood, with an emphasis on the treatment of steroid-sensitive nephrotic syndrome.
