Abstract 

Understanding of the natural history and pathophysiology of several paediatric renal conditions is still evolving, and the best clinical and radiological practice remains under debate. We present the radiological issues surrounding renal pelvis dilatation and urinary tract infection, and propose appropriate protocols for the management and follow-up of such disorders.
